Volunteers are the lifeblood of Preservation Texas. Our volunteers make it possible to carry out the programs that celebrate the heritage of Texas. Volunteering is an opportunity for you to utilize your talents for the benefit of the community. It also provides an excellent opportunity to explore the talents you didn't know you had!

If you wold like to become a volunteer with Preservation Texas, please send us an
e-mail and tell us about your interests. 


Advocacy: Assist in the dissemination of action alerts, information sheets and other projects.

Database and Website: Help in the administration of the membership databases and website maintenance.

Education and Events Volunteer: Assist staff and committee with the successful implementation of educational program and fund-raising events.

Administration: Assist with various copying, mailing, filing and administrative projects.

Technical Assistance Volunteer: Help research, organize and develop information to respond to technical assistance inquires and assist staff in responding to inquiries.

Texas' Most Endangered Places: Help prepare for the annual listing in February.  Applications are submitted in October and the selection committee meets in mid-November.
